what is difference between "New" and "CreateObject" in VB6 and ASP?

I am revisiting some of classic ASP and VB6 code. I have a question on whats the difference between "New" keyword vs. "CreateObject" to instantiate object. Any suggestion please...

It all depends on how you want to create the object. I mean when you use "New" keyword is early binding and when you "CreateObject" is late binding in VB6 and classic ASP.
